  • From referrals, publicly available sources, professional networks, social networks, business partners, clients, and data providers, as permitted by law.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and our business.
  • Respond to inquiries, schedule discussions, prepare proposals, and communicate about requested or potentially relevant services.

  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, complete business transactions, and protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Create aggregated or deidentified information that is not reasonably linkable to an individual, and use it for lawful purposes.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. These tools may collect identifiers, device information, internet activity, approximate location, and interaction information. Categories may include:

  • Strictly necessary and security technologies used to operate forms, prevent spam or abuse, remember choices, and maintain Site security.
  • Analytics technologies used to understand visits, referrals, engagement, errors, and Site performance.
  • Functional and embedded-content technologies used to provide forms, podcast players, videos, maps, scheduling tools, chat, and social or other external content.
  • Advertising and measurement technologies, if enabled, used for campaign attribution, audience measurement, remarketing, or interest-based advertising.

Technologies observed on the Site as of the Effective date include Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, an embedded Google Form on the contact page, and embedded Buzzsprout podcast content. These and other providers may collect information directly from your browser and process it under their own terms and privacy policies. RiseOpp may change providers as the Site evolves.

Google services. Google Analytics helps measure Site use. Google reCAPTCHA helps detect spam and abuse. Google Forms processes information entered into the embedded contact form. Information collected by Google may include device, browser, IP address, interaction, and form-related data, depending on the service and configuration. You can learn more at Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s page describing how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

Buzzsprout. Podcast players embedded from Buzzsprout may receive device, network, cookie, and interaction data when the player loads or is used, subject to Buzzsprout’s privacy practices.

6. Cookie and Tracking Choices

You can control cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting; because there is not a uniform industry standard, the Site does not currently respond to ordinary Do Not Track signals.

You may also use Google’s browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics, although RiseOpp does not control the availability or operation of that third-party tool.

7. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers and contractors supporting hosting, content delivery, website operation, forms, spam prevention, analytics, CRM, communications, scheduling, media, advertising, security, professional services, and business administration.
  • Analytics, advertising, social-media, and embedded-content partners when their technologies are enabled on the Site.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, financial institutions, and other parties assisting with legal, compliance, risk, or business matters.
  • Government authorities, courts, law enforcement, litigants, or other recipients when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • A buyer, investor, lender, successor, or other relevant party in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of some or all assets.
  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

RiseOpp does not sell personal information for money. RiseOpp does not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to exceptions, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, a portable copy, information about collection and disclosure, restriction or objection, or an opt-out from sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request and to receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

To submit a request, use the contact form at RiseOpp.com/contact-us and include “Privacy Request” in your message. Describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to identify relevant records. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, but RiseOpp may request proof of authorization and direct verification. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10. California Privacy Disclosures

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, if RiseOpp is subject to that law for the relevant processing. The categories collected, sources, purposes, and disclosure categories are described in Sections 2 through 8. RiseOpp retains personal information only as reasonably necessary and proportionate for the disclosed purposes, subject to legal, security, contractual, and recordkeeping requirements. California law also permits residents to request information about certain disclosures for third parties’ direct-marketing purposes; requests may be submitted using the method in Section 9.

11. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, managing business relationships, maintaining records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, complying with law, and protecting security. Retention depends on the type and sensitivity of information, the relationship, legal requirements, and operational needs. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information where permitted by law.

12. Security

RiseOpp uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and RiseOpp cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive material through the general contact form.

13. Marketing Communications

You may opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting RiseOpp. Opting out of marketing does not prevent non-marketing communications about a request, engagement, or transaction. Providing a telephone number through a general inquiry form allows RiseOpp to respond to that inquiry; it does not by itself constitute consent to automated promotional calls or texts where separate consent is required.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and RiseOpp does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact RiseOpp so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

15. Third-Party Sites and International Visitors

Links and embedded content may take you to third-party services governed by their own policies. RiseOpp is based in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, RiseOpp will use an appropriate legal basis and safeguards for cross-border processing.

16. Changes to This Policy

RiseOpp may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or business practices. The revised Policy will be posted with a new Effective date. If changes are material, RiseOpp may provide additional notice where required.
